FAQ

Q: What is CBD?

CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is one of over 85 chemical compounds known as cannabinoids found in both industrial hemp and marijuana plants. Cannabinoids activate and partially bind to special receptors on your cells throughout your body, called cannabinoid receptors. Certain receptors are heavily concentrated in the central nervous system while others are found in almost every organ. Collectively, these cell receptors make up a larger endocannabinoid system (ECS). Studies have increasingly shown that CBD plays a vital role in balancing your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS)

Is Lifted Cold Brew Legal?

Yes, Lifted Cold Brew is nationally legal.  We use only cannabinoids (CBD) from the stalks of imported hemp that contain no THC.  From a legal perspective, the hemp extract in our drinks is treated like any other hemp seed product.

Q:  Will this product get me high?

A:  No.  Hemp plants, by definition, contain only trace amounts of THC, meaning consumption of hemp products will not cause a psychoactive effect or high.

Q:  What about drug testing?

A:  Daily portions of hemp products do not contain sufficient quantities of THC to register on drug screens.  However, if consumed in excessive amounts, it is possible for the compounds to accumulate in the body.  It would take several thousand cups of coffee would need to be consumed on a daily basis for a screen to return a positive result.

Q. How much CBD do you put in every Lifted Cold Brew?

A: 1.5mg of nano-infused CBD into every bottle.

Q: Where is the CBD sourced?

We source pharma grade quality Cannabidiol (CBD) extract with a 99.96+ % purity which is organically grown and contains no THC. Our supplier based in the U.K. is a direct producer using its own genetically engineered hemp cultivars by combining an extensive background in chemistry, research, breeding, planting, seed business, and industrial production.

Q: Is your CBD safe for human consumption?

Each shipment we receive includes a Certificate of Authenticity, Certified Lab Analysis from an accredited U.S medical marijuana facility, Allergin Report and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) which can be provided upon request. Please contact your physician or nutritionist for further advice regarding food safety.

Q:  What conditions can be treated with Cannabidiol?

A:  We can not advise or claim that cannabidiol (CBD) cures or treats any disease.  However, research suggests they may offer wide-ranging benefits to consumers.  Consulting your physician is always prudent, as is reading more about the human body's endocannabinoid system (ECS) and its role in regulating proper systemic function.
